How To Clean Protect & Condition Your Auto Leather Seats

Cleaning and condition your auto leather seats is easy and will prolong the life of your leather. People always ask me how often they should clean and condition their leather seats. This is a great question, in fact, a lot of people forget to complete this process. skipping this step will cause fading and or cracking or the leather.

For those of you that are very particular about their auto leather seats listen up. This process should not take anymore than 10 to fifteen minutes to complete. By following these steps your leather will always appear in like new condition.

Cleaning your leather seats should be completed at least once a week. When you clean your seats you want to use a professional leather cleaner. I am not talking about grabbing the first thing you see at your local parts store. Do your research and use a safe professional auto leather cleaner. This will save you time as well as give you professional results. The cleaning process will consist of using a microfiber towel or a fine soft brush. The leather cleaner should be sprayed on the micro fiber towel or the brush. Then lightly wipe down your leather seats. This will remove the dirt build-up and allow your leather to breath.

After you have cleaned all of your leather seats, you can then get ready to apply a professional auto leather conditioner. This process is performed with a microfiber towel or a foam sponge. Simply apply the leather conditioner to the towel or sponge and evenly apply the leather condition to your leather seats. The results will be amazing and this will guarantee to keep your leather supple and prevent fading or cracking. Lane's leather care kit will do the trick.
