Winter Wheel Care Protection

Winter is right around the corner. This means rain, sleet and yes snow. Taking care of you wheels is a must in the winter. There are two easy steps that will grantee your wheels the ultimate protection in the upcoming winter months.

The two steps consist of cleaning and polishing. These steps will not only keep your wheels looking new, your wheels will have the ultimate protection. First, lets tackle the cleaning of your wheels. This step is obtained by using a professional strength wheel cleaner. Even if the weather is bad outside you can take this wheel cleaner and a soft towel and complete this step in your garage. Professional wheel cleaners will do the job right the first time, in fact, all you need to do is spray your wheels down and wipe them clean with a soft microfiber towel.

The wheel polishing step is done after your wheels have been cleaned and dried. This is the more important step of the two. Once again keep in mind that you are going to use a professional wheel polish. The application should be rather simple. Just apply the wheel polish to a foam applicator and then evenly distribute the wheel polish to each wheel. Some people use a buffer, however, depending on how bad your wheels are hand application should be fine. Once the wheel polish has been applied allow roughly 5 to 10 minutes and remove with a soft microfiber towel.
